Muslim/ah mana sih yang belum tahu siapa Haddad Alwi???! Yuup...pastilah halayak mengenalnya sebagai musikus tembang-tembang bernuansa islami yang menyejukkan kalbu pendengarnya, yang merontakan dan tak jarang mengiris relung hati. Pada debut pertamanya berduet dengan Sulis yang juga bersuara nan merdu dalam album “Cinta Rasul”. Indah nian indah, syahdu merengkuh kalbu, lirik-lirik dalam setiap album mereka. Di samping lagu “Ummi” yang sungguh saya kagumi lagu di diatas juga tidak kalah memesonakan hati saya. Duh...Ya Rabb Subhanallah ma ajmala...! begitu indah makna yang dikandung lirik tersebut. Ikatan rasa cinta terhadap Baginda dan bermuara pada cinta Rabb yang begitu dalam dideskripsikan seperti halnya keselarasan alam dalam rotasi-Nya. Semua tampak serasi, anggun dan kalau boleh saya menerjemahkan pada satu baris bait ke-6 sungguh cinta yang tak akan terlukis hanya dengan untaian kata. Maha Kasih Allah yang telah memberi cinta, dengan merengkuh jalan Nabi-Nya kita kan di dekat-Nya. O..ya, meski bait-baitnya mengandung rima yang indah tetapi bait yang paling kusuka adalah bait ke-2 karena mengadung makna akan keindahan alam atas keagungan Tuhan hanya karena cinta dari Rahman dan Rahim-Nya.
